Scaling people processes across borders

eQ8 was a growing team of 25. After a Series A raise and with an increasing position in the US - processes and structure hadn’t kept pace. Leadership needed interim support to bring clarity and systems to their growing organisation.

APPROACH

FirstFifty partnered with eQ8 three days per week over five months, working as part of the team to implement scalable people solutions, their HR tech suite and support critical hires.

  • Selected and implemented HRIS (hibob) with payroll integration through Xero

  • Selected and implemented ATS (Workable) to streamline hiring

  • Crafted four new workplace policies, localised for global teams

  • Directly sourced, interviewed and hired two Full Stack Engineers, one US VP of Sales, one Executive Assistant, and one Data Engineer

  • Built the careers page, Glassdoor presence, and employer value proposition

  • Defined and delivered tiered levelling across the organisation, plus domain-specific capability frameworks
